In collaboration with designer/shaper Chris Muehl and starting with a proven Parker Surfcraft platform we transformed the “Five” into a more refined, high-performance, competition ready board while maintaining the speed, flow, and rails profiles that set the board apart from other boards..
- Modern foil and outline. To create a board that looks traditional but rides just as well revert we moved the centerline forward, added width to the nose under the front foot, and carried the hard rails up toward the tipped nose.
- Modified Stealth Tail. This tail is defined by its high aspect ratio, two tip points, and a single, central pivot point. This provides extra hold through turns and airs, a central pivot point to maximize turning capacity, and adds speed through the flats or down the line.
- Rocker and bottom contours. Low entry rocker, staged flat section, and slight tail kick set in a single concave. A single concave runs the length of the board adding lift and speed, and allowing for quick rail to rail transitions. The combination of rocker and bottom contour maximize high performance handling without sacrificing speed and acceleration.
